Tiger Compatibility

Im finally going to upgrade to Tiger. What I want to know is: will my Panther applications work with Tiger? I know some programs have Panther and Tiger versions, and some don't. Will any of my Panther Programs run on Tiger, or only a specific kind?
Whats the deal?

Panther programs will run on Tiger. Some Tiger apps will not run on Panther which is the reason for 2 versions.
