Tiger Icons on Desktop still?!

Hi all,

On my desktop, I am still getting the old style file icons not the new file preview ones. Are others getting this too? Any way to switch to the new style?
 
I found out how to fix this! Clicking on the desktop and pressing command-J brings up an options window where you can select "show icon previews". For me this was switched off before...
