I was curious to know if anyeone had any problems with the new iSync. Basically I went to sync my phone up and instead of merging data on both the computer and phone it just replaced my phone with my exact address book, which resulted in me loosing about 10 contacts or so. I really haven't dug to deep to see if I can fix it cause I've been busy, just curious to know if anyone else noticed that or if it's just me.

I think it depended on what options you set for your "first" sync.

As I did mine - I was asked to choose between three options... and by drilling down into the options in iSync - I could ask Tiger to do what I wanted.

I had mine replace my phone contacts, but for some reason, this had a couple of strange effects on my cell phone -- it deleted my one-touch dialing preferences, and it seems to have also deleted my custom ringtone settings -- the contacts still show up with the custom ringtone icon, but it doesn't seem to do a custom ringtone anymore. :(

I wouldn't know, Apple still not supporting the Motorola v551.
