Hello all.
I have a network user who is a member of an AD domain.
When you type his details into the login screen it successfully logs him in, but upon setting auto login, it fails to login this user.
Also when you log out the user is not in the users list.
Strangely enough the machine also takes 4 attempts at logging in, with correct password, before it allows you in. Could Tiger be forgetting him somehow? :-S
Also it seems to be forgetting all shares that are mounted. I know what login items are but it is incredibly annoying for users with many shares to have them all jump up and open on login.
As a stop gap fix i have created alias' but this is not ideal.
I have compared this machine to others that are working fine and the only difference I could notice was some of them said mobile instead of network.
FYI running 10.4.11 Tiger
