OK, so I.ve done my duty, I am running OSX the latest version ...
was thinking of upgrading to CS2 so I've downloaded the 30 trial from Adobe.
I did and like a careful Mac guy rebooted to make sure all preferences are working and the prmissions are fine ..... I have never seen so many Beachballs in my life!!! It seems every command in CS2 has a BeachBall to open it up!!!
Everything is running "twitchy" I have to wait for menu's to appear and if I click again I get another BeachBall, driving me crazy!
And this seems to be through the system not just the new Adobe Trial!
Anybody out there having similar problems with "the Greatect OS in the World"
Thanks

beachballs

I.m running a G5 iMac 20", 1.8 with 768 MB Ram
just to reply to this group I got a BeachBall...thats not right !

Well, how did you "get" to 10.4.2. Did you Upgrade, clean install or backup and install?

I updated a few days ago when it was released on the Apple site!
The retailer installed Tiger from disk at the spore before I got it.
I am now getting a BB after almost every clicl...please someone help!
I may have to go to a busier Forum thread!

I think we all have to come to terms with the fact that Tiger did not get enough QA, even after two patches.

tiger will be an easily forgettable milestone in OSX's history. I just hope Apple gets their act together for Leopard. A lot is on the line when going head-to-head with Windows Vista.
