Tiger to Leopard

Lets say i bought mbp with Tiger. Is it going to update to Leopard itself or do i need the Leopard dvd. If so, how can i get the DVD ? should i pay for it?

Go buy it. You cannot upgrade using a software update. It is $129. Available at many Best Buy or Circuit Stores, all Apple Stores (Retail and Online), and many other stores.

You get the DVD from an Apple Store or an Online Store like Amazon selling the DVD, it costs $129.

Having just upgraded to Leopard from Tiger, after a long period of thinking and whining about how much it was going to cost, I can say it's money well spent. Go for it!
