Tim Capsule as an access point vs. router

Anyone know if TC could be used as an access point, as opposed to a Router? I already have a router in the basement, and have LAN connections throughout the house. I want the n-router in TC for an access point, but need to avoid conflicts of having 2 routers on the same network.

Anyone know if you can run TC as an access point only? Can you do that now on Apple's routers?

Good question. I would say no, but I'd definitely like to know if the answer is yes.

Yes you can. The Airport Express is capable of doing this (from my experience) and the TimeCaps is (I am assuming) configured by the same software as the AE.
