So it seems like Tim Cook has a custom made Apple Watch
heres-the-apple-watch-that-tim-cook-wears-the-most.jpg

Im really digging the red crown. It kind of gives it an old school- dial - feel....
I dont know what that is telling us - maybe there are custom products on the way? What do you think and wish for the next generations? New Materials maybe?

Exactly. He's the CEO. He can have whatever he wants.

Just think of the delivery times if you could have custom made watches.

I'm just gonna go to the local office supply store and grab a pack of those small coloured sticky dots and BAM! Mine's custom too

Cooks was not a retail watch, nor is it a sign of the future, it's part of the product development of the current watch. By having some read on the crown does not make it a custom watch, it's a prototype / test unit.

He probably is using this one in public and the prototype gen2 at home and work :)

I think it means if you're the CEO of Apple, the company that manufactured the product you can get whatever custom version/design you want.

I was actually at the Apple Campus last week and received a visit from John Couch. He had a SS with red crown. I asked my friend, who works for Apple, what you have to do to get the red crown on a SS, and she said, you have to be the top 100 employee numbers or be the CEO.

I think it is his self destruct button so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. You don't want to press that watch crown! Lol

Actually this is quite common at :apple:. My cousin used to work at Apple as an engineer and they often installed prototype components on their iPhones and iPads randomly (like clear backplates)...
