Time between found and notification

I have noticed there is quite a bit of time, at least 15 minutes to 1/2 hour, between when the Tag is picked up and the times changes to "Now" and the time you get a Notification. I wonder why a delay? and why doesn't the notification come as soon as the Tag connects with the Find My network?

Quite a few YouTube's with people experimenting with these seem to show no notifications at all.and I've seen that in comments in here as well,they are found, but no notification on the phone, so maybe the notification process is a bit glitchy?
