I am looking for an application that can help me keep track of the time I have spent working on a matter for various clients. Essentially, a billable hours applications. Any suggestions?

sorry maybe i should have said i was looking for freeware.

well, i think job timer is worth the few bucks. you can also check versiontracker. there was a pretty good freeware app, but i honestly forget the name right now :( With it, you can check # of hours per job broken down by task as well.

Neoffice and use the spreadsheet.

Time and Billing apps are generally too complex to develop for free. You're better off searching for a spreadsheet template for a free Office clone app.

Exactly. The reason I asked whether you wanted a desktop app or webware is because I've yet to see a quality desktop app for this task that's freeware. I've heard good things about Billable, but again, it's not freeware.

iBiz

iBiz is an excellent applications. If you are doing real light work, it has a 5 minute time to allow you to get a couple of things done.

If you are making money to a point where you need such an app, give the author his due and buy the app.

Max.
