Time capsule 3rd gen, can I use it as USB drive?

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 2TB time capsule and I was wondering if I can connect it directly using the USB port to my laptop? Using a double USB cable to get faster transfer of information. I need to transfer a lot of information.
It's seems to be running a bit slow, maybe because of my network configuration.

Any recommendations or advice?

No, it will not work to connect the TC internal drive to your laptop.
