Time capsule 500gb or external seagate sata II 500gb what are the + and - points.

Hi I am at the point of going down the road of a external hard drive to save photos, video ect from a mac mini core duo 80gb. It is a toss up between the time capsule and a mac style enclosure with a (seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500gb with oxford chip set). Anyone with good or bad experience of either or using a system like the above any info would help to make the choice. many thanks Teadigger

Time Capsules are fine if you also need a wireless router you can plug a printer into for wireless printing. If you just need an external disk drive it will be cheaper to just buy the drive
