Ok, so basicleh:
I have a time capsule, that's connected straight to the comcast modem box. Then I have an airport extreme that's extending the connection wirelessly to another room and the box has my 360 and PS3 connected to it. Is it possible to make my Time Capsule do n@5ghz and the airport extreme to do b/g@2.4ghz wirelessly?
I know I have the option to bridge the AEBS to the TCBS wired and have the AEBS send out 2.4ghz to b/g and the TCBS to do 5ghz to n but I need a way to keep my 360 online.
Would this be a possibility? AEBS bridged to TCBS. AEBS 2.4ghz output and TCBS 5ghz output, then a cisco(linksys) e1000 extending the AEBS but only allowing wired connections?
And if I extend the network but not allow wireless clients I won't lose the huge amount of speed that's lost by allowing wireless clients, correct?
