my time capsule which i keep downstairs, next to another router seems to always be very slow, and only started doing this over the last week or so. when i connect to my other router, its fine, strength is fine, and it picks up the disk in time capsule fine, streams music and internet fine. but when i connect it to the actual time capsule itself, its just goes all weak.

any settings i should look out for before i panic and take this thing back to apple. damn apple. would they give me a replacement? would they save all my data?

thanks

Mac OSX's signal strength indicator isn't very accurate. Don't use it as a judge to your connection speed.

im not.

music wont even play when connected directly to time capsule ( i keep my itunes library on it with all my films) streaming a film from it is impossible now. it always times out aswel. there is a problem somewhere here.
