I have a external disk set (two 2TB 3.5’ HDD) hooked with time capsule (the tall one with 802.11 ac support).

Recently I plugged off the disks and plugged in the laptop itself to transfer some big files.

Then when I re-connected it to time capsule, it cant be found.

After a day I realized that perhaps its because I formatted both disks to APFS file system (I was running high sierra beta).

Maybe that’s why the time capsule couldnot see the disk.

But will apple release the firmware to make it supported? or it is not possible physically?

The AirPort is not getting any new development so I seriously doubt they will ever get APFS support added in. Stick with HFS if you want the AirPort to read the disk.
