Hey I have a simple question about the time capsule.

I Have a portable HDD that has a unique format with a bunch of ISO's on it. Is it possible to use time capsule to keep a backup of this HDD?

hummm I dont think it can. The file format is wbfs. Its for a soft modded wii. Im just wanting to backup the HDD so I dont know if time capsule will be a good idea....

Time Capsule doesn't have to read the files.

If you plug the external hard drive in, can you open a finder windwow with the .wbfs files listed?

Is so the TC should be able to back them up.

Time Machine can only back up HFS+ formatted drives. If your drive is formatted WBFS, it can't be backed up by Time Machine. Are you wanting to back up the ISOs? If so, use whichever program you used to copy the files onto the drive and copy those files onto a backup partition or drive elsewhere.
