Hi,

I'm using Time Capsule and everything works fine with my Macbooks, iPads and other Apple devices. But when I start my Windows 7 laptop my modem reboot every 10/15 min. Looks like everything is fine between my modem and my Time Capsule when I use Apple devices. But when Windows 7 start it breaks something between my modem and Time Capsule.

I have other laptop with Ubuntu and it works fine. The problem is only when a Windows 7 OS is included in the network.

What could cause this issue?

I would hazard a defective network card. I have seen this sort of thing happen with a bad wired card, i suppose it could happen on a wireless card as well. try plugging your win7 laptop into the TC via wired ethernet.

I use 4 win7 machines, 2 laptops and 2 desktops.

Hi, but it happens only with TC. If I use my Linksys router it works fine.

Did you set DHCP on your TC? Is your modem in bridge mode?

I double NAT the whole thing so I can utilize my modem's built in switch for things like my PS3 and Wii.

What happens if you are plugged directly into the TC? same thing?

I didn't try to plug the laptop because I don't have a wire.

I will try to get one to test it. Anyway I think it's something in the settings between my modem and TC. If I replace the TC with a Linksys router it works perfect.
