time capsule as media server?

Any one tried this?
I just want to put my film collection on i and the combined itunes library on it.
Then everyone can watch the films and listen to music, share and share alike.
How would itunes handle a bunch of music on an external drive?

I am doing it with iTunes and it works well for a single user. Performance over wifi is a little slow, but wired ROCKS! I believe if you want to have multiple users there is some vodoo necessary to have the iTunes dbase file local on each machine.

I have my TC wired to my Mac then wireless to my AppleTV. Works a charm

When you have hundreds of movies a click away it takes just as long deciding what to watch as its does to watch what you decide upon.
