Something is wrong with my Time Machine Backups.
I have a Macbook, 2009 6.1 running Mavericks 10.9.4. I have the old 2Tbyte Time capsule.

I have noticed that whenever I try to access backups, despite having dates down the right hand side of the screen, I can't access them. If I try, the Finder window title bar is black and there are no folders or files to choose. The only "normal" Finder window is the current one, all the ones behind are neatly tiled but black? The Finder window advances as it should.

Incidentally this is exactly the same problem I'm having with my desktop iMac.

Help?

This one sorted itself out. It appears that I wasn't leaving it long enough for the Time Capsule to initiate. If I wait a few seconds (30) then all my backups are available.

Thanks fror all those who all checked out my non-problem:eek:

That is probably a delay as Time Machine sorts and catalogs the backups.

This happens to me as well when accessing over wifi. It takes longer than 30 seconds though. Sometimes a few minutes.

Yes quite worrying at first, although I've learned to wait a few minuets now and so far, all is well.

Thanks again to all who have taken the time to look and answer:cool:
