Hi,

I have a Buffalo NAS now which is unable to stream to the 360 as the 360 will only stream from what it thinks is Media Player. There are many ways around this - Connect 360 on a Mac, Twonky Server on a NAS etc etc but I dont want to have to wait to see how to hack the TC to do this.

Can someone who has one see if the TC appears as a 'Source' for either music or Video in the 360?

The Time Capsule is essentially just a NAS device with Time Machine compatibility. It doesn't have any ability on its own to stream data. No different than an AirPort Extreme with a USB drive handing off it (though obviously something is slightly different so it'll work with TM).

Seeing as the time capsule is an external hard drive could media be placed on the hard drive and streamed onto the 360?
