Aren't N devices supposed to connect at 300 Mbps? G devices are connecting at 54 Mbps.

My N devices are getting 270 Mbps.

They are using same SSID and WPA pw.

300 Mbps is the theoretical maximum data rate. On my 5GHz network, my MB connects at 300 Mbps, yet my MBP connects at 270 Mbps. I've never been able to connect at 300 Mbps for my MBP. But then again if you're just browsing, even 54 Mbps is probably more than enough for your ISP's data rate.

RF interference caused by distance, walls, other devices nearby on the 5Ghz frequency, etc...

270Mbit/s is still really good.
