Time capsule extend network

I have my time capsule downstairs connected to my cable modem and my iMac upstairs and i wanted to extend the range so could i buy a airport express
and plug that into my wall and use a ethernet for my imac?

You can connect the Time capsule to the cable modem and bring a Express and make it extend the range of the network.

i Wil tel you the possible way that you can extend networks

But the best way have good connection is the first method .

Because Time capsule is designed to act like a Main station rather than a client .
