Has anybody used the Time Capsule to directly import iMovie events when downloading from a videocamera? I've noticed the events files are huge and would prefer to put them right on an external drive without backing them up. Has anyone done this without having to manually move the events to the Time Capsule?

For that matter, has anyone been able to download directly from say, a Canon Camera straight to Time Capsule before importing into iPhoto? I download digital photos to a Year/Month/Day directory structure, then import into iPhoto. As a result, I have 40G of photos in iPhoto, and the same 40G elsewhere.

I really doubt that time capsule is fast enough for video. You are better off getting an external USB or FireWire drive.
