I'm considering getting a Time Capsule for backups and wireless printing. But the new gen 2 Time Capsule is $479 AU, and thats just too much, but I can pick up a refurb gen. 1for $369. So I'm just wondering, whats the actual difference(s) between the old Time Capsule and the new one?

A few

One difference I am aware of is that you can set up two different networks on the second gen model. One private and one public.

The 09 model can do simultaneous dual bands which pretty much helps when you have N and G devices on your network. This makes your N transfers faster.
