Hi everyone

After putting it off due to various reasons I will be purchasing a new mac either an air or a rmbp

However this is the first time I will be using a reduced Hard Drive space which is fine just a bit strange as I was always used to maxing out hard drives etc.

I am therfore hopeless with anything to do with the cloud and nas etc so any help would be great.

I travel quite a lot for work therefore I have a growing digital media collection. So if I buy a time capsule for back ups and plug a portable hard drive into it and store my media in that and that means others can access it while it is plugged in and then when I am away if I take the hard drive it will have all my media there whilst saving space on my internal hard drive.

That would work just fine.
