imeCapsule info:
Dual-Band 500GB TC
Firmware: 7.4.1
AirPort Utility: 5.4.1
Currently it is selected as JOIN CURRENT NETWORK.

I recently picked up a time capsule to add to my existing set up (AEBSn) + MacBook & MacBookPro.
I have my AEBSn as the current (master router) that also has a external drive with a copy of my itunes library on it.
My goal is to back up the 2 notebooks to this drive (theyre not too content heavy so 500 was perfect) as well as point the itunes library to the 500gb TC (not too big either).

I get it set up, AirPort Utility sees it just fine, connects to my existing network flawlessly, rename the TC Disc to match the external on the AEBSn for easily not having to reorganize my iTunes library.

So the problems start randomly...i did a test by transfering an album over to the TC drive...alright no problems, playback in itunes again no issues.

so i begin to try and transfer another album....first i get an error code (i forgot to screen cap them) and the TimeCapsule disappears from Airport utility and the sidebar in Finder (on both machines) but the internal TC drive is still spinning and the indicator light is still green.
I plug an ethernet cable in to restart it without damaging the harddrive
so i try again...same problem...tried different files and folders i tried with a drive directly plugged into TC and aswell as wirelessly and wired from my MBP.

it doesnt spout out an error, i just get a random system freeze and then it says disconnected from server and I am unable to access the TC in AU or Finder.

Ive done a few hard resets and a few hard drive erases to no avail....is there something im missing?

at this point i have not started or initiated a timemachine back up i just wanted to test out the TC first before going through that esp with this current madness.

any tips, advice or otherwise assistance?

thanks!
