Is is possible to upgrade the internal HD in a time capsule?
I have a 500GB time capsule, but i'm going to upgrade my MBP to a 1TB HD, so in order for the time capsule to be able to totally backup my MBP it needs to have a larger drive. Rather then going out and spending the money on a the new TC that has a 2TB HD in it, could i crack open the case, remove the 500GB internal HD, clone (I was going to use Carbon Copy Cloner) the contents of the 500GB to a 2TB HD and install the 2TB HD into the TC and put it all back together. Would this work?
