Time capsule issue since Maverick

Since I upgraded to maverick, I need to restart my time capsule once every two days in order to access my network hdd. I'm running the latest firmware for my time capsule. Anyone has a solution to this problem?
 
So I tried hooking up my external disk directly to my macbook. Now all sub folders on the disk have disappeared.
 
Did you use the Migration Assistant to transfer your settings to Mavericks?
