Hi there,

I recently moved all my TV shows, films (movies to those -5 hours GMT+), etc. onto my 2011 Time Capsule as my 2008 320GB HD iMac is strapped for space. What I find a little annoying is that it appears I need to click (mount) the Time Capsule in Finder every time I want to access the content in iTunes. I had assumed it would always just *be there*, but I guess not. Time Machine backs up fine whether it's mounted or not.

So, is my solution to this only a NAT drive? Or would that need mounting every time I want to access content too?

Trouble is I like to use my iPad to stream stuff to my TV, which means walking the length of the house to ensure TC is mounted, which kinda defeats the point. I've tried using File Browser on the iPad but that is a bit buggy for streaming to the TV from the TC it seems.

Maybe it's time to get a new iMac with a cavernous hard drive....!
