Time Capsule makes a whistle/beep

Hi everybody,

1 week ago, my TC started to make a repetitive whistle/beep, and I don't even know what is the cause.

Have any one noticed the same with his/her TC?

TC Whistle

My TC just started making a whistling sound. Lasts about one or two seconds. It almost sounds like a faulty bearing. I have also been having frequent backup failures even though the TC is only 20% full. I don't know if they are related. Have you found out the cause of the whistle?

Sounds like a faulty hard drive.
