Looking for advice here.
I have Verizon FIOS and the crappy router they provide has been having problems. I pulled it out and replaced it with my Time Capsule. Pretty much plug and play once I set up the PPOE on the TC.
My question here is what kind of security risk does this pose? I have TC management on the WAN port disabled. I have disabled the guest access. I require the TC password to access the HD and since the TC does not seem to have a firewall for the network I have enabled the OS level firewalls on all of my machines connected to this network.
Have I missed anything? I hope not since the performance boost is significant and now BTMM works.
