Hi all,

I have a 1TB TC connected to a Netgear Router via ethernet.

I also have an Airport Express which connects to the Netgear router which I use to play music from my devices out of my sound system, and an Apple TV.

My MacBook automatically picks the Airport Express and Apple TV so I can stream my media through iTunes etc. but strangely it doesn't recognize my Time Capsule - neither in Finder nor in Airport Utility. This happens regardless of whether the TC is connecting to the router by ethernet or wifi.

HOWEVER I can see the TC in the router's settings, and I can mount the TC using 'Connect to Server...' in Finder and the IP address of the device - I can also administer the settings in Airport Utility in the same way.

I wrote an AppleScript to mount the disk automatically on login, but it's not the ideal solution. Does anyone have any ideas why Bonjour doesn't work for the TC in my configuration whereas it works perfectly for the Airport Express and Apple TV?

Thanks!

Richard
