Hi- I searched for this answer, could not find it, although I suspect it has already been answered:

Will time Capsule function as a general network drive you can store stuff on, or just as a backup device for time machine?

I would like to be able to setup my and mywife's macs to use time machine to it, but I would also like to buy the 1tb drive and use it for storing things that need a central home, like photos.

Thank you.

From Apple.com:

"Because it mounts as a wireless hard drive, Tiger and Windows users simply access Time Capsule directly from the wireless network for exchanging and storing files quickly and easily."

You should be able to mount it as a hard drive in Leopard, also.
