Time Capsule only backs up from Yesterday forward?

I have a 500 gig Time capsule. I've been using it for about 6 months with no troubles. I formatted my HD and reinstalled Leopard. I was able to restore some old stuff to my HD. Today, it will only let me access back until yesterday. It shows the dates and times of all the prior backups but the pages are black and cannot access them. Any idea what went wrong? I need to access my school files to restore them.

The shortname of the new user after the reformat probably differs from the shortname of the original user. Otherwise the computer name is probably different too. You'll have to do a manual restore by going into the image of the backup, mounting it, and then pulling the files you want to restore back over.
