hi.

my 1tb time capsule is acting strange. i created a sparse bundle disk image (so i can store my iTunes media).

unfortunately, i somehow created a sparse bundle disk image, which is too small. i deleted the sparse bundle disk image, and since then, time capsule only shows around 460 gb of space.

i resetted the time capsule, but i still don't have the whole 1tb of space. i deleted my backups too, but i still see 460 gb of space.

anybody seen this problem before? any tips or ideas how to get back my 1tb?

thanks.

I've never heard of this problem, but if you don't have any more backups or data on it, perhaps formatting it would restore it to size.

Use AirPort Utility, click the Disks icon, select the Time Capsule Disk and click the Erase button. (Of course, only do this if there's absolutely nothing you want on the drive.)

Actually, you can't mount the Time Capsule in Disk Utility in order to erase it. You must erase it using the Disks tab in AirPort Utility.
