Ok, so I have a few inquiries about both of these items.

I bought a Linksys WRT 160N V2 5 months ago. I never really paid much attention to the AE until recently.

Now I have heard great things about the AE. I also have been reading up on the TC as well, as of late. From what I gather, it is an external HD and a router? Is it essentially an AE with a hard drive? Also, if the latter is true, can I use the TC as just an external HD, instead of just a clone of my HD? I am assuming this is true, but you know what they say about ASSumptions...

If the TC is as good a router as the AE, I will be buying this very soon!! I'll just sell my 3 routers i have around here :)

The TC is not made for upgrading.

Buy an AEBS and a matching HD case. The TC and AEBS are not fast anyway as network drives.

If you are serious about backups, you will use one that is hard wired. Buy any other brand other than Apple when it comes to wireless networking, they are extremely overpriced.
