in a great place
Whats the big difference? Besides the price. Tell me why the Time Capsule will be better. I have One leopard machine. my MBP is tiger.

Which should I get? Thanks guys.

time capsule is wireless mybook isnt, plus it acts as an airport so you dont need a wireless AP

the real question is if you have a wireless router already. If you have leopard on a desktop, you can connect the external HD to it and it will work the same as the time capsule disk, and you can still use your router.

No it's not. Get the MyBook.

When it comes time to get another harddisk, what are you going to do.....buy another Time Capsule? Harddrives malfunction, harddrives get full. What if the wireless router starts to give you trouble in 2 years? You're stuck with a wireless router that isn't so great, and a harddisk that's trapped inside.

I think Time Capsule is great if you want to wirelessly back-up. If you don't care, and you don't mind backing up with the cable sometimes, then get separate components.
