Time Capsule resetting - will I lose the files?

OK so somehow I didn't record the master password for the thing AND the password is different from the file share and wireless passwords (which are the same for me).

At the moment the airport utility on my PC is storing this master password and I can see/make changes to the TC no problem, can I view this password somewhere?

Big question: If I reset the TC will I lose the contents of the drive?

Minor question: if I save the *.baseconfig file and reset the TC and restore the base configuration does that restore all the passwords too or just the configuration settings?

Never mind! I used the identify command in the airport utility which requires you to enter the master password (even though it is saved in the utility??) and that gives you unlimited guesses until you get it. When you do get it it just blinks the light yellow/green on that device so you can find it. That might help someone guess the password.
