Hi

I was just wondering if this is potentially dangerous: I have my Time Capsule on a shelving unit right next to my printer. Could the vibrations from the printer disrupt the hard drive in the Time Capsule? The shelving unit is simply wire, so it if the printer is causing a vibration/shaking, the Time Capsule would feel it. Would something like this damage a hard drive, or is it okay?

Thanks.

probably not.

if the printer is used full time, like in a business setting, then i might think about moving it although i probably wouldn't. A few pages now and then shouldn't be a problem at all.

think about what people do with their laptops while the drive is spinning, a little vibration from a printer is nothing.
