The idea of consolidating my wireless router and external hard drive(for backups) to one device intrigues me, though I'm worried about disk failure.
The fact that the disk could fail doesn't really bother me, but the method in which apple would replace it does. If the drive fails, would Apple expect me to send the entire TC device back? This would leave me without my router and hard drive, but most importantly I'd be sending them GBs of valuable data of which can be extracted easily by someone who knows what they're doing.
I know it's not out yet, but can anyone tell me how Apple would most likely handle RMAs on something like this? I'm somewhat new to Mac.
Thanks in advance.
