Time Capsule space remaining bug

Due to the poor performance of my Time Capsule 1000 I have deleted every backup of Parallels on the drive backed up from 4 different Macs over several months.

I imagined the available space of the drive would increase massively, but instead, the available space has increased from 12.1GB to 12.5GB.

Impossible surely?
