I just set up a Guest Network on my Time Capsule for guests of course. What I'm finding is my Guest Network is much faster than my Admin/Main network.

Any particular reasons for that?

I can say that in order for the Guest Network to work on Time Capsule I had to turn off Bridge Mode and ended up having double NAT. Wondering if that somehow affects the speed.

This is from the main network.

And this is from the Guest Network.

Usually the Guest Network is much faster than seen above, usually in excess of 50 MBS, and is consistently much smoother download with few peaks and valleys on the graph.

Is it just random?

I could be that the connections are using different wifi channels and one is a little less congested or has less interference than the other. Do an option click on the wifi menu icon on both connections and look at the channel and transmit rate.
