So I just bought a 1TB Time Capsule from Apple and it delivered last Friday. I set it up and they release an updated version today with supposedly 3x3 MIMO? Can anyone give any insight on what it is and if I should return it to get the newest updated version?

I didn't notice any update to the specs on the site. It looks to be the same dual channel setup I bought a while back.

What's the return policy? 14 or 30 days? I'd exchange it for sure. In fact, I just bought an AEBS 28 days ago, and would love to exchange mine.

It's a 14-day return policy. Just called and am getting the new one!

Ark,

I'm in the same boat with you. I just bought an Airport Extreme 4 days ago and have already set it up.

Did you have to pay the 10% restocking fee? What did you say to get them to agree to sending you a new TimeCapsule?

Thanks!

No restocking fee. I was just nice about it and said I just purchased the Time Capsule received it Friday and today Apple released a new one. I would like to return the one I got for the new version. She said, "Sure, I don't blame you I would do the same thing!" Viola!

Did you go to a local store, or do you need to send it back? Can you provide more details please. Thanks.

I purchased the 1tb @ full price 2 weeks before they came out w/ the 2tb version and was fortunate to have it exchanged. Wish I had the new faster one but am happy w/ the exchange. Now if only they'd update the TV this often I'd actually purchase one.

How strict is Apple with the 14 day policy if you're not far removed from the 14 days?
