Hi all. I got an email from my ISP saying I'm over my monthly bandwith of 250GB's!!

So I logged on to check things out. Seems like I'm downloading approx 1-2GB per day (which seems reasonable) but uploading 15GB per DAY!!

I have all mac's on my network (mac pro, 2 imac's, mac mini, macbook pro) Couple iPhones, 2 ipads, and a hp photosmart printer.

Couple of the mac's have frostwire, but as soon as they are finished downloading whatever, it is shut down completely.

I called my isp, they have no idea why it's so high. Is there anyway I can find this out?

Also my wireless router password has been changed every week, and the network is also hidden, and I live on a dead end street with only 1 neighbor, so its highly unlikely that is the cause.

Quick fix, change your isp to one that offers unlimited bandwidth :)

It's not always an option. Swedes are spoiled rotten in this area. I remember having 10/10 with unlimited traffic at home in 1999, 100/100 a few years later. Just three years ago the best I could get where I lived (Western Europe) was 8/2 with 30 GB per month...

i wouldn't call it spoiled, just more connected

Im paying about 45 50 bucks for my current 100/100 unlimited connection but now we can get 1000/1000 for about 150 per month so maybe we are a bit spoiled. :p

Are you from Sweden? Or did you just study here?
