I am new to this Forum so hopefully this post will work
Here goes... I currently have a mac desktop and a mac book pro. I am running an AE with an USB powered samsung external hard drive. I am wanting to network my music and photo library.
My question is what is better and faster... my current set up i.e. AE with an USB powered samsung external hard drive or to buy a Time Capsule? I find it takes a little time to fire up with I start using iTunes thru the external hard drive.
I am not going to use the TC for a back up but want to use it for a network drive? I have googled this topic but there is only topics on using TC as a back up drive.
Looking forward to hearing some expert advice
