Hello -- Hope someone can help.

I bought a 1 TB Time Capsule and set it up one week ago. My hard drive is about 200 gigs -- the initial backup took 24+ hours ... it was a pain, but things seem to be going well.

WITH ONE PROBLEM.

Daily, on the hourly intervals that Time Machine gets crackin', one of the backups will be a whole whoppin' 60 gigs! After one week of regular, seemingly smooth backups... my 1 TB Time Capsule only has about 120 gigs free. Other hourly backups are a couple megabites.

Am I doing something wrong?

My hard drive is pretty standard, filled with media -- new daily recordings from Elgato's EyeTV (but nothing in the neighborhood of 60 gigs daily!) and one thing that might help in diagnosis is that I have a 60 gig partition on my HD for photos that I share between users on the computer. But I've already tried putting the partition on the "exclude" list on Time Machine and it still wants to do the 60 gig backup (which takes about 4 hours to complete).

Hope I've provided enough background. Any help is appreciated. :D
