Time Capsule weirdness

I have a 500GB TC. I have an i5 MBP running Lion. Time Machine has made me perform 4 full backups at 12GB a pop. The most reason said something to the effect of "back up has been verified, do it again" What other information do you ned to troubleshoot this issue? I work odd hours, so I may not be immediately responsive, but I will respond.
