I currently have a 500gig Time Capsule hooked up to a powered-USB router with 3 external hard drives hooked in (about 1 TB total of external space).
Am I doing something wrong or is Time Capsule just god awful slow? I have a new MBP that I am connecting to the TC with but when I connect to the TC and then click on the drive I want it takes 15-30sec or a min even to open up the drive and browse. Copying files is VERY slow as well. I thought Wireless N and the TC were supposed to be fast?
Also is there a better way in OS X to interface with the TC external drives? I would like them to auto mount when I turn the OS on so I can access them like they were plugged in via USB (not have to "log on" to the TC and click the drive). If I did this would it slow down my OS X boot since the TC is sooooo slow?
