I've been running a Time capsule for a while now (500GB, purchased 2 years ago, running version 7.5.2). I've been sharing it with a roommate (both on win7, MBA on the way) using "With accounts" as File sharing setting. This results in us having 2 network drives, one that is shared and simply called "Time Capsule (\\NETWORK)" and the other one called, for me, "ACCOUNTNAME (\\NETWORK)".

Recently I decided to add a usb hd to the time capsule to get more space to store things on the network. I was hoping to get a similar structure as on the Time capsule (2 network drives showing up), but this does not seem to be case. Instead, only one network drive that seems to be shared between the two accounts show up (i.e. both accounts can access the others files).

Does anyone know if this is normal behavior for the Time capsule or is the usb hd supposed to be split into two network drives like the hd in the time capsule (like I want it to  )?

All ideas/suggestions/thoughts are welcome!

The time capsule manual is unfortunately not so specific on this matter and I haven't been able to find any information on the "normal behavior" for the "with accounts" file sharing and usb drives.
