Hi, I have a TC connected to a cable modem. The TC is connected via ethernet to an Airport Extreme in another room which serves my Mac Pro, Xbox 360 & the 2 iPhones in the house over a g wireless network. The TC is serving a MBP & a MB over an n wireless network.
What I'm finding is that I'm losing my Xbox live connection whilst playing Modern Warfare 2. This is happening on 8 out of 10 games lately - on most occasions this does not affect my internet connection across other devices.
What I'm guessing is that if I'm hosting a game that the TC freaks out with the number of incoming & outgoing traffic.
The TC is set up to share a public IP address, with the AEX set up for bridge mode. I have set up DHCP reservations for all of my devices and the majority of these are running manual IP addresses including the Xbox. The Xbox also is reporting an open NAT.
Any suggestions on how to remedy?
